Server Infrastructure Migration Complete: Please Reinstall the Desktop App

Our server infrastructure migration is complete. If you use the desktop app, please read to the end.

To make Arch Calendar more stable and faster, we've moved it to new server infrastructure, and that work is now complete. Thank you for your patience during the maintenance.

If you use the desktop app, please delete it and install it again

First, we're sorry for the trouble. We made a mistake during this migration, and because of it, the desktop app currently on your computer can't switch over to the new servers on its own.

We know it's a hassle, but to keep using Arch Calendar on desktop, please delete the app and download it again from https://www.archcalendar.com/download.

  1. Quit Arch Calendar and delete it. On Mac, move it from Applications to the Trash. On Windows, uninstall it from Settings > Apps.

  2. Download the latest version from https://www.archcalendar.com/download.

  3. Install it and log in with the same account you've been using.

Deleting the app doesn't delete your data. Your tasks, events, and notes are stored in your account, and they'll be right there when you log back in.

We're sorry again for asking you to take a step you shouldn't have had to. We'll be more careful with future updates so this doesn't happen again. Thank you for your understanding.

On the web and on mobile, the migration has been completed without any issues, so you can keep using Arch Calendar just as you always have.

Thank you.
