You don't always have Arch Calendar open. Maybe your phone is in your pocket, or you're tied up in another app. Either way, your next deadline shouldn't catch you off guard.

This update brings two ways to stay on top of your day from your mobile — home screen widgets and start & end notifications.

Two new Upcoming widgets show what's next on your calendar at a glance, no taps required. They're not just for looking, either. Tap any task to mark it complete, or hit the + button to add a new task on the fly.

Notifications now ping you exactly when work starts and ends. You'll get a heads-up before a task or event begins, and another before it wraps. Completed tasks won't bother you. From Settings → Notifications, you can choose how far in advance you want each reminder and toggle notification sounds on or off.

Other Improvements

• Reorder tasks in Inbox — You can now drag tasks in the Inbox to set your own order. Plan your day in the priority that actually makes sense to you.

• Faster mobile experience — We've optimized the mobile app's performance under the hood. Everything from launching the app to scrolling your calendar feels noticeably snappier.
